Madelyn Hebert Dooley is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana where she graduated from Mandeville High in 2000. Upon receiving her high school diploma, she moved to Lafayette, Louisiana where she pursued her degree in Anthropology in 2004 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She spent some time working for the United State Forestry Service in Alexandria, Louisiana exploring the past cultures of those that inhabited the Kisatche National Forest.
After realizing that this career did not compliment her servant's heart, her mother and father both recognized her compassion for those that were
hurting and suggested that she pursue a career in the medical field where she would have a firsthand opportunity to impact lives. Madelyn proudly answered the call and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2007. Shortly after she moved back to Lafayette, she married and started a family, raising two beautiful children, Gillian and Liam. She loved her career as an RN at Lafayette General giving care to patients in the cardiac care unit, post anesthesia unit, and intensive care unit and, in 2012, decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
Her passion to continue her education was inspired through the collaborative efforts of medical and pastoral teams in the intensive care unit to miraculously heal critically ill patients on more than one occasion with both medicine and prayer. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014 and remained loyal to Lafayette General working six years in pulmonary and critical care. In 2017, tragedy struck her family with the loss of her husband, Jason. Through this hardship, Madelyn realized that you can't always treat physical ailments with chemical solutions; you have to treat the mind and spirit as well.
In 2020, she made a transition from pulmonary and critical care to cardiology working and training in the Virtual Care Center at Cardiology Institute of the South. Madelyn is married to Kearn Dooley, who is a licensed funeral director and is proud to have served Christ faithfully for 20 years in the funeral service industry and prison ministry. Kearn and Madelyn have both encountered the healing of Christ and together, they have incorporated this into their personal and professional lives. They continue to touch many lives through their motivation meetings by promoting healthy habits and lifestyle change. Madelyn belongs to both Church of Christ and Our Saviors Church (Lafayette Campus). Her faith has inspired her to search beyond the boundaries of traditional allopathic medicine to discover and utilize more integrative and faith-based approaches to uncover the root cause of disease and promote a positive healthy life.
Madelyn provides a compassionate, integrative, whole-person approach to healthcare. Her practice blends traditional primary care, functional medicine principles, and faith-guided wellness to support healing at the root cause—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Her mission is to provide thorough, compassionate, patient-centered care that honors each individual’s story. Whether addressing chronic health concerns or supporting your long-term wellness journey, she strives to offer a space where patients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared
